Witham MP Priti Patel met with Essex Police Chief Constable BJ Harrington and took him on a tour of Witham Town. During the visit Priti and the Chief Constable spoke to local businesses and residents and discussed concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour in the Town. Priti said:
“Local residents and businesses have had serious concerns about crime and antisocial behaviour in Witham. We’ve seen a number of serious incidents in recent months and the fear of crime is rising. I am pleased that the Chief Constable came out to Witham to meet businesses and residents to discuss with them their concerns about crime. I know that he is keen to work with the local community and with me to improve policing in the Town to make our streets, businesses and homes safer.”
