Priti Patel, Conservative Party Parliamentary Candidate for Witham, has welcomed the publication of the Conservative Party Manifesto for the 2017 General Election. The manifesto contains a programme for Government which will deliver strong and stable leadership for Britain. It includes increased funding for the NHS, more investment in education including technical education, raising the personal tax free allowance to keep taxes low, new opportunities for people to own a home, and a higher National Living Wage. Priti said:
“Our manifesto provides a clear plan for Britain to face the great challenges of our time and to secure a prosperous future beyond Brexit. The policies we have put forward shows that the Conservative Party is on the side of ordinary working people with support for the vulnerable and for hard working families. The strong and stable leadership a Conservative Government can provide will mean we can invest more in education and healthcare, help deliver more affordable housing, and raise living standards for all.”
“While other political parties have produced manifestos that are nonsensical, out of touch and will hit families and businesses hard with higher taxes, our manifesto will deliver a stronger future for Britain.”
