Born and raised locally, Ross will be a strong voice for our area on Essex County Council and is committed to making our area an even better place to live.
Witham Northern covers a vast chunk of Witham as well as the Notleys, Silver End, Rivenhall, Terling, Fairstead, Faulkborne, Bradwell and Pattiswick.
Ross Playle, who has been selected by local party members, grew up in Witham and has always been involved in the local community.
Ross, works for a national older peoples' charity and is passionate about helping others. Ross said, "Having grown up in Witham with strong family links to the surrounding villages, I know the issues that matter to residents and what they want to see improved. This is an area I care deeply about and I am committed to improving for all".
Local MP, Priti Patel, has known Ross for many years said, "Ross is a hard-working campaigner committed to helping families and businesses locally. He brings great enthusiasm and energy and would be an outstanding councillor standing up for Witham Northern".
The next Essex County Council elections are in May 2021 but Ross will be out and about over the coming months speaking directly with residents.
