Following severe traffic congestion and obstruction by parked cars, it was necessary to find a solution to keep traffic moving across the bridge.
Councillor Mark Durham has liaised with Essex County Council and South Essex Parking Partnership to secure the double yellow lines that will prevent parking along the narrow roads either side of Hoe Mill bridge.
