Our Priorities are YOUR Priorities
We love Witham and are ambitious about the future of the town. If elected, our sole focus will be on making it an even better place to live and work.
We will always defend against inappropriate development in the town, and use the new protections provided by the District Council’s Local Plan to secure better community infrastructure commitments from developers, which will include a brand new community centre for Witham. We will also campaign vigorously for enhanced healthcare provision and a permanent police base in the town.
We will also fight for town centre upgrades, above and beyond those already planned by the District Council for this summer. Modernised street furniture, cycle parking and improved signage will all help to boost the local economy by making Witham an even better place to visit.
Our Conservative-controlled District Council already provides high quality services while delivering value for money, and a vote for us will see this continue. Residents will still be able to rely on regular bin collections and we will support the Council’s ambition to achieve a 75% recycling figure by 2030.
We’re asking you to lend us your vote on Thursday 4th May so we can build on the Conservative successes of the past and deliver for residents in the future.
