Our Priorities are YOUR Priorities
As proud residents of Witham, we love our town and would be deeply honoured to be able to champion the priorities of local people at the District Council. From schools rated as Outstanding to beautiful nature locations such as the River Walk and high quality leisure and sporting facilities, Witham is a brilliant town and we want to make it an even better place to live.
If we’re fortunate enough to be elected in May, we will support existing and future measures to help with cost of living concerns. We will back the Energy Rebate Scheme, the £25 refund to Council Tax paying households in the Braintree District and grants to community groups that are helping with household bills.
As your local Councillors, we’ll always defend against inappropriate development, using the new protections provided by the Council’s Local Plan to deliver better community infrastructure, such as the new Community Centre near Maltings Lane. We’ll work with Essex County Council to improve pathways, fight congestion and combat potholes.
We ask you to consider lending us your vote, so that we can crack on with turning these words into action.

He has also worked closely with Essex County Council, to get potholes fixed in the ward. Having previously served in the British Army, William is now a technology consultant and a member of the Witham Methodist Church Council.
Joe Trigg
Joe is Witham born and bred, and has lived in the town his entire life. He is a local businessman, having set up his own cleaning company recently, and has a passion for extending employment opportunities to residents across town.
